Valentino Rossi, the legendary MotoGP rider, now owns a Moto3 team. The aim is to scout for new Italian talent and take them to the highest level possible. The deal was struck between Sky TV and VR46 wherein Sky is the main sponsor of the team.
Team riders are Rossi’s half brother Luca Marini and Romano Fenati who will be seen riding KTM bikes in 2014. This team and the project will focus on putting the careers of young Italian riders on the international circuits.
